Saphir Teinture Dye for Leather, Suede & Nubuck
Penetrating alcohol-based formula. This versatile liquid dye can be used as a base coat, to change a light colour into a darker one or as an edge dressing for your leather soles and heels.
Prepare smooth leather before with Decapant Stripper.
Choose between Five Dye Colours
Note Once dye is applied it cannot be removed.
Protect your hands with gloves, if dye comes into contact with your skin clean with alcohol/white spirit immediately or acetone if the dye has dried
Apply with Brush or the cotton bud, two coats may be necessary.
How to use: Before touching up or staining, thoroughly clean the surface from dirt and degrease. The product is practically non-rinse, so be sure to use gloves. Shake the bottle well before use, use a brush or applicator to apply evenly to the item then allow it to dry. If necessary, treat smooth leather with balm or wax-containing creams and polish to give shine. Treat nubuck and velor with a nubuck brush or sponge, to raise the pile. When colouring items with a lining, the lining should not come into contact with the product to avoid staining.
You can only stain from a lighter shade to a darker one.
The final colour depends on the original colour and type of leather.
